Adam N Eve - T3 - Catseye - Nam's Optimal Skin and Prim E

Adam n Eve have been making state of the art skins for the 6 years that I have been in SL. For some people, Adam n Eve skins are the first skins they ever had on, since when Linden’s updated their newbie avatars to have modern features like…Oh…Prim hair…instead of the monsterish hair that we started with when I was “born” they turned to Adam n Eve to produce the skin for those newbies. I remember when I made my first avatar I went through the walk through, and I tried to make my system hair, which basically looked like thick brown lichen growing like a bush out of your head, into the beautiful hair like the people I saw all around me…gave up and quit the game. Eventually I came back and created Tapika, learned about prim hair, became a lot less frustrated, and the rest is history.

One of the things I like about Second Life is its ability to evolve, some designers fail to evolve with it, and still create items the same way they did from the beginning and get farther and farther behind in quality, but other embrace change and keep to the head of the pack. Sachi Vixen is one of those designers, her mesh work she does with Siddean Munro in their One Bad Pixel shop is second to none, and her skins continue to be some of the best SL  has to offer, working from scratch to create her own skins. I love her ethnic skin lines, they are some of her best. More than just darkened versions of pale skins.

Today I’m showing one of her new skins, Shelby, she comes in 4 different skin tones, tone one through to tone 4, with tone one being the palest. The photo above shows Shelby in tone 3. This skin has great lines, contouring and shading, everything that Sachi is known for. There are a lot of extras in these packs, some of which aren’t done by many other designers at all or are increasingly being sold as separate add ons.  She gives you 4 tattooed hair bases, in the 4 main hair colourings, which I have found actually handy for hair stores that don’t have hair bases like Elkatira. You get a tattooed bust enhancer  for those like me who like the extra cleavage look above, and for those who don’t want much less in the way of breasts there is a breast dehancer tattoo. The skins have dark eyebrows by default, and you get tattooed red head and blonde eyebrows. My most favourite add on of all from her is the gloves to hide nails.  Every skin designer should put these in, but I only know one other designer that does.  These are fantastic for those of us who wear prim nails, no fussing matching skin colours and tinting gloves, these gloves are perfectly coloured to match the skin. WONDERFUL! You also get a freckles tattoo and a tattoo for dimples on your cheeks. You can bling yourself to your complete satisfaction. Oh yes…you also get a skin. All this for 949 a skin pack or 2,900L for the fatpack of 6 skins.

You can also buy a set of 6 lipsticks especially made for you skin tone for 300L. These will go great with any of the make ups, especially the bare. Below I’m going to give you a photo of all the make ups other then the bare, since I find bares are mostly bare canvases for people to make up tattoos on anyway. Adam n Eve does make a very pretty bare skin though, it is great for a fresh faced look, if you like that style. I would like to note that I have fairly heavy eyebags on my SL shape because I like the under eye make up to show up more then it does on most make ups. If you want your make up to show more or less under the eyes, play with your eyebags. Eyebags can be pretty, but only in SL . Who knew?

Adam N Eve - T4 - Scarlet - Nam's Optimal Skin and Prim E

In this shot you can see the great body that Sachi as crafted for this skin, not too much muscle, not too little, sleek feminine curves, beauty marks intriguingly placed, soft shadow of bones to make you look slender not emaciated. If you haven’t given  Adam n Eve skins a try before, I hope you go out and grab a free sample and see what they can do for you. I think you will be thrilled with the results.

The outfit I’m wearing is one of the new lingerie releases from Blacklace, called appropriately enough Rousing. It comes with the bra, panties, stocking and mesh corset that I showed here, but also with a demi bra that I hesitated to show for fear of getting my blog restricted. It’s wonderfully naughty, just a wee bit too short to be proper. Great for those alone times when you don’t want to be proper. The corset/cincher is mesh and comes in the  5 standard sizes, large through extra extra small. I’m usually a small in standard sizes and a small fitted me perfectly with this. There are 2 different alpha layers included to make sure that all shapes have trouble free fittings.

There are a lot of prim bows on this outfit, 3 at the front and 2 in the back, and a lot of shops would have put them all on one or two objects to make less items in the bag, but Blacklace is all about making it easy for the customer, so they keep the back and front bows on separate objects, only putting the two bottom bows in the front together. This allows you to edit the bows into place without having to worry about having the ones in the front look right and the ones in the back look out of tilter or visa versa. This way they all look perfect. The outfit also comes with everything on every possible layer for incredible flexibility.

The Rousing set comes in six beautiful colours, the Pink Satin and Cream I’m wearing here, as well as Red, Chocolate, Purple, Blue and Mint. Each set costs 398L each and are transferable for easy gifting. You can get them all in the sexy pack for 1,599 which is like getting 2 free.

The hair I’m wearing is from Exile and is called Crazy in Love. It’s  a rigged mesh hair, and I think it’s amazing. I love all of Exile’s work.  I love even more that he has a natural’s pack so I don’t have to just get one hair colour, but can get a mix of one each from all the natural hair colours.  This is the red hair from the naturals pack, Sunset. I’m wearing it with his hair base in sunset, his hair bases are free and right in front of you when you walk in the door. His hair packs are 250L each except his two varigated hair packs which are 280L each. His fatpacks if you want it all are 1,000L.

The eyes I wore are from Mayfly, and are called Deep Sky Mesh Eyes in Deep Shadow. Mayfly makes their eyes with 4 different white shades so you can get them the way you want them, and they are sizable by scripting, or if you don’t like mesh eyes you can get the same great colours in system eyes for the same price. They sell for just 99L a pack.

The prim nails I’m wearing are from Jamman nails and are the most expensive thing I have on. They are their ultra mesh rigged nails and they cost 1,499L for the set. Now anyone who has read this blog knows I’m pretty cheap.      I don’t mind spending money, but I want to get my money’s worth, and if it’s expensive I’ll brood for days before I will fork over the cash. Well this purchase I think I brooded for weeks. Every time I had just decided…no..not worth the risk, they would send another notecard out and I would go look at them and go…well maybe…until one day I just did it. Well it was worth the risk. This are wonderful nails. For your lindens you get 800 different colours of nail polish, for a start, so it’s less then 2L a polish colour. You can colour each nail individually or do them all at once. Now not every polish colour is going to be to your liking,  I admit that to me the silver and gold tabs are way too much  of the same things, the designs are different enough to justify the space used, I would have much rather had half of each combined on one tab and another tab for animal prints which is something this hud is lacking in. The gold and silver tabs were the last 2 tabs, and I can just image the brain burn the poor designer was going through after having created 600 nail textures at that point, it’s no wonder that animal prints didn’t occur to her. If I had to create 600 nail textures they would probably find me walking down main stretch in my underwear with tinfoil on my head talking about how the aliens are listening. It’s a miracle that she pulled out  200 more.

With this nail set you get all the future upgrades. Normally with SL stuff that means if they have to fix it, you get the fix, and that’s it. These nails really have been upgraded since I first bought them. A great deal. They are now on version 4. There are more shapes and lengths of nails now. You have the ability to create your own solid or tipped nail colours. She added shine in 2 intensities.

One thing for those of you with shapes that are not modifable so you were unable to wear prim nails before…these nails size themselves to your hands…anything from 0 to 100. It doesn’t matter, it’s done automatically for you.  No muss no fuss.

Would I buy these again…in a heart beat.

Blacklace - Boo Red Velvet Corset - Meghan T3 Scarlet

I got a new fatpack of Adam n Eve’s new skin Meghan, and I thought about how I could show it off, and I thought about the new releases from Blacklace this week and thought they might be a match made in heaven. Luckily yes they were! Meghan comes in four skin tones, T1 toT4, the one I’m wearing  is the T3 tone, one tone up from the darkest. You can buy a single skin for 949 or a fatpack for 6 make ups for 2,900L  which is around half price.

I paired the Scarlet make up with Blacklace’s Boo- Red Velvet Corset with Bordello Skirt. Every part of this outfit is perfect, starting with the huge number of pieces you get. Every Blacklace lingerie set comes with more parts then you ever dreamed you could possibly have lingerie in. This ensure that it’s incredibly wearable, no matter what kind of tattoo, what clothing layer you have to wear for something else, you can fit a Blacklace outfit around it. If you want to combine multiple items on one layer, like garter and corset together…you can…if you want to do without the garter and stocking…you can. The huge number of layers means the ultimate in control.

The Boo corset set comes in 6 different colours, all no copy, transferable for easy gifting. Other then the above red it comes in teal, purple, blue, green and black. Each set is 398L each.  Blacklace is now making Lola’s Tango appliers for their new and released items, that is why Boo is being featured this week. The applier is available to purchase for each of these separately for 99L.

Blacklace - Boo Red Velvet Corset - Meghan T3 Scarlet_003E

To pair with this luscious red corset I chose the Scarlet Meghan make up with it’s lush red lips. The skin defaults with a dark eyebrow, but I am wearing a one of the included tattoos to change the eyebrows to blonde. The other option is red brows of course. There are 4 hair base tattoos as well, I’m wearing the pale blonde.

I’m wearing mesh eyes from Mayfly, their Deep Sky Mesh Eyes in Hazel Shadow. I love the colour of these eyes, brown and green in swirling flecks.   These are eyes you could wear for a year and never get tired of looking at them. These eyes come with 4 different versions of whites like I discussed in my last blog post, and I’m wearing the whites version to go with the pale skin.

The jewelry I’m wearing is from Lazuri, one of my new favourite jewelry stores. This is her newest jewelry set, En Tourent, just a couple of pieces, and just showing a bit of it. This set is beautiful and customizable to the max. The pieces can be made fancy or plainer with a click of a button on the hud that pops up when you touch it and chosing the big or small version of the item. Then you can choose the colour of the metal and the stones. I’m going to cover this jewelry set in another blog post. Head into the shop to look at it soon, as it’s on sale right now for 50% off as a release special, I don’t know how long that sale will last.

Blacklace Tender Caress - Blue Sheer_003e

This beautiful blue lace cincher set by Blacklace is called Tender Caress.  It comes in 8 lovelyshades for 398L each. Aside from the blue I’m wearing there is red, black, white, green, purple, fushia and teal. There are Tango appliers for this outfit as well, available for sale separately at 99L each.  I love this lingerie set, Blacklace does really great lace work, and their lingerie really looks like something you would get off the shelves at a store in real life. Which a lot more then you can say  about most of SL lingerie.

I chose to wear the baby blue make up option for the Adam n Eve Meghan skin with this outfit.  As with the above outfit I wore the breast enhancer tattoo that is included with all Meghan skin packs. If you prefer to have a very small breast sizer, then Adam n Eve has you covered. There is a breast dehancer tattoo included in all skin packs to minimize the appearance of breasts.

The eyes I’m wearing in this photo are also from Mayfly, their Deep Sky Mesh Eyes in Hazy Rainshower, a beautiful light blue.

Blacklace Tender Caress - Blue Sheer_004E

I’m showing this back photo of the Tender Caress outfit for two reasons, one is to show you that the detailing of the Blacklace lingerie doesn’t end at the front but the back is fantastic too, The other is to show you have great the fanny is on Adam n Eve skins. I’ve often heard it said that Sachi Vixen, the genius behind Adam n Eve skins, draws and shades the bests bums in SL, and well from this picture you can’t say they are wrong.

The hair I’m using in all these photos is by [elikatira], her Found in Blonde 7. I love her styles, I love that she sells a variety pack, she was one of the first stores to do so. The only thing I don’t like is that she doesn’t have hair bases, which means I’m struggling to find another store that does with a hair base close to her colour is I want to wear something like this design which has no bangs. It just doesn’t look right to have hair growing out of your head with no hairbase anymore.

Blacklace Tender Caress - Blue Sheer_009E

This bra and panty set from Blacklace is called Kirsty, and it come in 6 enchanting colours for just 298L each. Aside from the white above there is pink, purple, blue, teal and red.  The Tango appliers are 99l each and are purchased separately. One little note about this outfit. It is a little more see through on the bra then it appears in the photo. In order to make the photos “legal” for my feeds I wore a tintable nipple pastie, that covered up my nipple and was colourable to skin colour. I actually bought the one from Blacklace Beauty, and it was only 50L. I just want everyone who is going to buy this to know that your nipples will be visible when you wear this, if you don’t do the option I did. Of course if you are in a situation where you are wearing lingerie, it’s probably not going to matter. *nudge nudge..wink wink*

One of the things I like best about this outfit is it shows off the torso on the Adam n Eve skin. Meghan has great shading, in everything from the clavicals to the lines of the tummy. It even has a totally cute belly button. Another thing about Adam n Eve that I love is that they include a nail cover glove to match your skin, so you can wear prim nails without having to fiddle with tinting gloves. This is a bonus in a skin package that really adds value to me. Saves me time colour matching gloves and nothing ever matches as well as gloves with the actual skin texture on them. Thanks Sachi!

For Nails I wore a pair from my new nail addiction, Bamboo Nails – one of their Pastoral French release..the green nails to match the green eyeshadow. In the photos above I wore the Bamboo Dark Side nail set, the blue nails from it. Check out this blog post for more details on what makes Bamboo Nails so great.

Blacklace Tender Caress - Blue Sheer_005E

Last but not least, a close up of my face, so you can see how beautifully Meghan is detailed. This is the Garden make up set. With all this glowy  skin and soft colours, you definately look like you could have been plucked from an English Spring Garden. It’s a wonderful show of taste. Nothing is overdone, nothing is underdone. It’s all just right.

To top it all off, the icing on the cake as it were, I matched this skin up with the Mayfly Deep Sky Teal Hazel Eyes. The perfect touch for a perfect skin.

Photography Credits – This post was made with a pose prop called BehaviourBody Poset Prop. It has 2 pieces of furniture, a curtained background and floor that changes into 20 different colour themes, and over 70 poses for 1 to 5 people. All this for the amazing price of 499L. There is a copy out to play with in their store. Stop by and have a peek.

It’s Ground Hog Day today, and the 2 Canadian Ground Hogs didn’t see their shadows so we are not going to get 6 more weeks of winter, so I’m officially ignoring the 2 feet of snow outside my window and declaring it spring! I admit that it’s a mighty thin bit of meteorological reasoning to hang the beginning of spring on, but despite times call for despite measures, and I had enough of winter…oh…about November.  So to celebrate the spring that I can at least have in SL if not in real life, I got together My Precious and Adam n Eve and took them to romp in the flowers.

Everyone knows that Agnes Finney of My Precious is famous for stunning gowns, but if you aren’t a gown girl there is still plenty at her shop to keep you happy. This dress called Unforgettable comes in white or pink and is 680L. It has a fantastic lace texture, great ruffles and  bows and the skirt is made in such a way that I didn’t see any real breakage in it when I walked. I don’t know how she managed that feat.

Their is a package of her nude bras which come in 7 pre-set skin tones, and one modifiable one, along with directions on how to tint the modifiable one if you are shy but I felt this skin was light enough that I didn’t really need it. You have to look pretty close to see and nipples. Why not give the men eye strain.

If you are looking for a less fashion forward look, then just take off the jacket and ruffles on this dress, and your left with an extremely beautiful elegantly simple lace dress that versatile enough to wear often.

Now one piece of really good news! My Precious VIP group is free to join. If you haven’t been to the shop and seen all the beautiful dresses that you can buy at a discount when your a VIP member you should do so, if there isn’t one that appeals to you, your missing one of your X chromosomes.  It s a great chance to be in a great group without paying the usual 100L fee. Then you can decide which one of the about 20 outfits you’ll get first.  The free VIP Group lasts until Feb 4th, so don’t put it off and forget about it.

The next part in my spring celebration or is that winter denial look is this beautiful skin from Adam n Eve. For a long time I loved how Sachi Vixen’s skins looked on photos but they never looked that great on me, but about 2 years ago that all changed. Now everything she puts out, and she puts out a lot, looks fantastic on me. She is one of the few designers that  make her skins from scratch, so when you buy her skins, you know  that there aren’t going to be 30 skin stores making similar skins out there.

This is something I never do, wear a freckled skin, normally when I open a skin pack, the first thing I do is toss out the freckled versions just to save space in my inventory, but I fell in love with Piper when I put her on.  Piper comes in 4 skin tones, this is pale, the lightest, there is also natural, warm and tan.  Piper is one of their skin packs, which means it sells for 1,800L but it comes with regular and enhansed cleavage, 6 lipsticks and 4 eyeshadows. The make up tattoos are really well done, they actually overset the whole eye area, so if you change your skin and forget you are wearing them, you look like your wearing a mask. Oops. But it does make for perfect make up, with none of the “not quiet right” feeling you can have with some shadow tattoos.  On top of that, you also get hair bases, manicures and other toys. Try a demo and I’m sure you will  love Piper as much as I do.

The jewelry I have been wearing in all these photos is from FineSmith from their offering in the Limited Couture. It’s 350L for the set, necklace, earrings and bracelet, which is a fantastic deal for jewelry, especially a limited edition set. The only thing I didn’t like was that the photo you buy it from shows the metal as being a light pink, where you can see mine is a very dark lead colour. When you buy jewelry to match an outfit, you have to be able to trust the colour on the photo, or you are often tossing your money away for something that won’t match what you want to wear it with.  I still chose to wear this item, but it would have looked a lot better with my dress if it had been the colour advertised.

Hair – This is Rumour by Elikatira, one of her lovely updos. The colour I’m wearing is her Red 05 from the Essentials collection. I love her Essentials collection, it’s a nice mix of colours for those of us who like to switch hair colours but don’t want to buy fatpacks.  It’s 250L for the Essentials Collection, 220L for other small packs and 1200 for the fatpack.

Poses – I used Hop Scotch’s set Pose Me…I’ve used it before..but it’s great and I will probably use it again. It’s 350L for 12 poses. Someday I’ll have to pick up Pose Me 2….

Sharise is a new skin offering from the magic fingers of Sachi Vixen of Adam N Eve fame. It comes in a wide range of skin tones, including the above Caramel, the second darkest, and the Deep Chocolate below.

It takes a lot of skill to perfectly shade very dark skin like this Dark Chocolate, without making a dog’s dinner of it. I’ve seen a lot of designers try and fail. Either the skin has highlights that are too stark and look bad, or the skin really just blends too much together and they look like a featureless blob when seen at any distance at all.

As you can see, this is a gorgeous face, and there are no problems seeing it’s contours and features.  This make up is called Garden. The skin comes with a regular and version of the skin that is called bewbs (and I think we all know what that means…3 cheers for cleavage!),  2 different black hair bases  (regular and wavy, both in black), a second eyebrow version on a tattoo, matching pedicure and manicure on gloves and stockings and on a tattoo.

This is Caramel again, also in Garden. The packs are 949L each, which sounds like a completely random number. Why not 942L…at least 42 is the meaning of life, the universe and everything! There are however 12 make up options, and they are all pretty. One of them is called Bare and it has a very nice light subtle make up that would be easy to wear your favourite make up tattoo’s over. Sachi has thought of everything. You can get a fatpack of all 12 of the skins for 4,999L, a not so random number, and a very good deal. I would so buy that before buying a single, but that’s just me! It’s no secret that I a skin addict.

This is the Olive skin in Garden. I love the Olive skin, I think it’s the most versatile skin in my opinion. I can really see this skin being a great Persian or Lebanese skin with the right shape. No hint of a tan on it, just a beautiful olive skin tone.

This is the last skin tone I have to show you, this is Mocha in the Garden make up, it could be a great Egyptian skin with the right shape, but heck it just looks great on my shape.

To show you some more make up choices, this is Golden Glow in the Mocha skin tone.

This is Hot Pink in the Mocha skin tone.

Supporting Cast

Hair – The hair I used on all the shots is Eleazia by Likeli. I love the way this hair moves and looks, although I like the black better then the red. You get both colours in a pack for 250L, along with 2 different hair bases, one with and one without a part. I wore the part versions.

Lingerie – I’m wearing the XOXO Blue Satin and Black Lace slip  from Blace Lace & Alpha Male. This is 298L each and comes in no copy transfer for easy gifting. It also comes in yellow, white, pink and purple. Like everyting Black Lace does, this outfit comes on every possible layer in every possible combination so you can fit it with anything else you want to wear. It’s great to have choices!

Poses – I used poses from one of my favourite pose shops this week – Magnifique – They just moved to a newer bigger store…because they needed it. This shop has a huge variety of poses, and I can highly recommend being in her VIP group, as Scarlet Chandrayaan is a very generous soul. The only thing I have to work on is remembering to actually put on my group title when I buy her poses, but I actually have a huge amount of credit saved up even with buying at the regular customer bonus rate.

If you haven’t been to the new shop go, she has a hunt on right now to find 10 poses for 1L each, and it will be a good way to check it all out.

“The pose set I’m using is found in the basement. It’s Model Pose Set #1 – I used the following

The Flawless sim is still celebrating it’s 12 days of Christmas celebration and this skin called Nessima 02E by Style By Kira is out for free. This is only free til noon SL time when it become 200L which is still a sales price. Then another skin comes out for between 0 and 20L.  This is found in the card in front of the Style By Kira store.

Almost every store in the sim has a cart out with freebies  or close to it, and great sale items. I’ll be bringing you a peek at  a selection of them every day til Christmas.

Unique Clothing as a bright and cheerful holiday gift for 0L called Candy Cane that I think will appeal to everyone.  After Christmas even if you aren’t in the mood for a full dress, it would make a great top with jeans and you can wear or not wear the cute prim candy canes. I love seasonal stuff that can be made not seasonal!

The skin I’m wearing in this is from the Style by Kira booth and is on sale there, it’s her Elora Skin, Daphine Edition – 01A. It’s selling for 200L and there are free demos for you to try to see if you like it.

This beautiful dress is from Adam n Eve, and is on sale for 150L. I love the details in this gown, like the lace edging at the bottom of the skirt.  After all the red and green, it’s nice to put on some Christmas Gold. This gown is called Enchanting Gold. It has a lot of different layers and options.

This is the tea length version of the Enchanting Gold gown, which another of the ways to wear the gown above.  Only a British designer would think of a tea time dress, but I love it. It’s not a wonder that Adam n Eve are one of my favourite shops.

Adam n Eve have a lot of things on sale on their cart like all the designers, but they also have this gift item, a sexy panty and corset set for the ladies. There is a boxer set for the men. This is a free gift for 0L.

You know, I normally hate anything with drawn on buckles, because no matter which way your avatar is, the buckles always seem to be different sizes, if not outright twisted and deformed. It is really a sign of how well Sashi knows how the SL bodies move that she was able to place these buckles in a position that when I went through at least 40 poses looking for a pose that looked good for the hair and the corset  (the hair is awesome, I had to use the hair), I did not see one pose that made these buckles look weird in any way. That really impressed me.

The nipple pasties worn here do not come from the gift, they are worn to keep from shocking the children, and are from a set I got at Free Speerit a long time ago. No longer for sale as that store as closed.

Other Items

Hair in photo 2 – Loq – Cheese Cake – 100L a colour pack. 300L for a fatpack. Who doesn’t know and love Loq hair, not much I can say beyond how great it always looks.

Hair in Photo 3 & 4 – Loq – Pudding – 100L a colour pack and 300L a fatpack. I love this bang. It’s perfect!

Hair in Photo 1 & 5 – After finding such a fantastic hair yesterday at Likeli, I had to go back today and see what else looked great. Well this HUGE afro was incredibly easy to fall in love with. It comes with 2 different options for hair bases for women and one for a guy, and then two prim hairs that you wear together to make a huge thick softly waving fro. Amazing! Only 190L.

Eyes – The eyes I’m wearing are from Aphotic Gloom and I’ll probably keep wearing them til I go to his shop and buy a new favourite pair…until then..they are mine and I’m not taking them off! hey are from his Clarus Collection which sells for 199L. I love all the eyes in this pack, they come in large and small, with prim and a special iris free eye, which I’m not sure what that is for..probably something to do with prim eyes which I haven’t switched to yet.

Adam  n Eve’s is one of those rare shops where you can walk in naked and walk out pretty, with everything you need to start your SL life. They are even responsible for a lot improved SL newbie stuff in the library.  Since they are having a fantastic shoe sale right now (more on that later down in the blog), I thought I would show you some of the stuff I have bought from Adam n Eve, so that I’m literally covered from head to toe today in their stuff. I even took the photos in their wonderful Artis Natur sim where they sell everything you need to make some fantastic landscaping.

The dress I’m wearing is Adam n Eve’s Snakeskin Dress which I have had for a few days now and I adore. It has one of the nicest textures I have ever had in a dress.  It almost seems to glow and shine with a liquid grace as I move, and makes ever pose my AO takes look sexy as heck.  It comes with two skirts so you can wear it whichever way you like, the more traditional flouncy prim skirt in the first photo, or the newer style mini skirt in the photo above. I’m more partial to the flouncy skirts still, because no matter what happens they always look good, you can’t say that about mini skirts. You don’t have to pick though, whatever way you want it, you got it. The dress comes in 6 colours, the red I’m wearing, black, blue, green, natural (brown) and pink.  As with all Adam n Eve stuff, they like to show you exactly how great their stuff is, so they have a free demo you can try of this dress, and if you decide to buy it’s only 260L.

The hair I’m wearing is from their hair department and is called Christina. It shows up darker in the photos unfortunately then it does in the game, you’ll have to get a demo of it and try on the cocoa colour to see just how great these textures are.  When you buy the demo, if you don’t get every colour they have, you get practically every colour in the demo. That makes it nice, because you don’t have to guess what colour pack you want this particular hair in, you can try on all the colours in a hair pack and find out. I got the browns, and I love every colour in it which is unusual for me. If I like 2 I’m usually laughing.

They have 8 different colour packs for 250L each, or 1440L for the Buy All pack and demos are 0L.

Do try on a lot of the demos, I found the hair looked better then it did it some of the photos.

It used to be that I made Sachi Vixen’s skins look bad. Mousy would be a kind way of putting how my shape made them look. I used to look at the pretty photos she had of them and looked at how the demos looked on me and hit my head on my desk..but no more! I too now look great in Adam n Eve skins! If you didn’t look great in Adam n Eve skins before, I would suggest trying them again too.

The skin above is her new Victoria skin, and with it she has made complete individualization possible for people with V2 viewers (including Kristens and Firestorm from Phoenix).  Each skin comes with 4 eyeshadows and 6 lipstick, and a nude version of the skin with or without cleavage. There are also blush add on, freckles, different coloured eyebrows to match hair colour and manicures and pedicures to match the lipsticks. It takes forever just to look at all the options you get let alone to wear all the different possible combinations.  If you are using a viewer that lets you wear more then one tattoo, I would highly recommend this skin.  It comes in pale, natural, sunkissed and tan. I’m wearing the sunkissed.

The skin is 1800L each but since this is more then a fatpack, it’s very resonable.  If you get bored you can check out the other tattoo make up that Adam n Eve has for sale and grow your choices.

Adam n Eve are having a shoe sale! Weeee! I love Damian’s shoes! All their shoes with prim toes like the Milano shoes I’m wearing here are 150L each. The fatpack of all 6 colours are 600L. You can’t beat that.  As you can see the skin colour on them are easy to match. These shoes are too old to match the new Victoria skin tone so I had to match using RGB colour numbers but it took me just a minute.

All their boots are also on sale for 150L each, and non-prim toed shoes are 100L each.  Fatpacks are discounted on all sets, prices depending on how many are in the fatpack.

I would really recommend you having a peek at these fantastic shoes before the sale and some of these shoes are gone forever!

To add a little incentive, there is a pair of shoes out for 10L.

Poses – The poses I used were all from Social Angtz a great pose shop. I used two pose sets – Fotogenic set 1 and Fotogrenic set 2

Photo 1 – Fotogenic Set 1 – Pose 6

Photo 2 – Fotogenic Set 2 – Pose 4

Photo 3, 4, 5 and 6 – Fotogenic Set 1 – Pose 4

Adam n Eve have a new skin line out called Astrelle, and when I put it on I was completely Wowed by the colours. I thought to myself that this is so bright and vibrant, I’m going to have to shoot it in a jungle. I went to some jungle sims. The background looked dull.  I said to myself, I’ll shoot it in a rainforest, rainforest are filled with colour, it was, the background still looked dull. I finally went to an elf kingdom. It took a magicial land to find a background to stand up to do this skin proud.

But just because I say that this skin has intense make up, don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s not subtly shaded. I’ve been known to bitterly complain about the state of SL shoulder blades in my blog for a long long time. In my oh not so humble opinion, most of them definately would not look out of place on starving crack addicts, not healthy women. I feel half the time, like I have naked little chicken wings trying to burst out of my back, and any minute someone is going to start following me around with a fryer. These shoulder blades are NOT like that. These are the antithesis of those shoulderblades.  I can’t ever remember having liked shoulderblades more.

Astrelle comes in 4 skin tones, I’m showing you Natural here, which is the second from the lightest. There are 12 great make ups, more then you get to see here today, and demos are free, so go to the store and try them on. You get a bunch of extras with each skin. You get a freckles tattoo, a black and a nude lipstick tattoo, a manicure and pedicure in both gloves and socks form and tattoo form so you can use whichever you prefer. A variety of hair base, eyebrow and pubic hair tattoos. There is so regular and cleavage versions of the skin. The skins are 1,000L each or all 12 for 6,000L.

The cute lingerie is from Blacklace, it’s the called Meow. It’s transferable which means it’s a perfect gift and right now it’s only 99L. A beautiful gift that doesn’t bust the linden piggie bank, who can beat that? The lingerie comes on a huge selection of layers, including some that only have the top of the stocking which makes them perfect for matching with prim toed shoes like N-core which have their own stockings. This was last weeks Low, but Blacklace doesn’t always clear away LOW right on time, so grab it while the grabbing is good!

The hair I’m wearing is Maitreya’s Siri and I wore it with Amacci’s hair base tattoo, since the hair style didn’t come with it’s own hair base. This is really not a hair that you can wear without a hair base, so if you skin doesn’t come with one, I would suggest you buy the Amacci hair base set. It’s a lovely updo as long as you have the hair base it was designed around.

Poses – Just A Pose is the maker of the fine poses I used today. The front pose was from the Simply Hippy collection – Snappy Straps, and the back pose was from the Best Actress collection – Show Off. The close ups was from the Couture Shocked High Fashion Poses – Stance
